Pricing Strategy For Knights Templar Events Services.
How can I get an idea of what something will cost?
We prepare quotes
for our services based upon the information that you supply for your forthcoming event. This information gives us more of an indication about about what you require, some of the parameters involved in the event that you would like costing out and more specifically as to what may be best suited in terms of supplying your event, as oppossed to just plucking a figure out of the air, as is so often the case.
The information that we need to enable us to prepare an accurate quote is:
- Location - [ venue and town or region ]
- Event Date
- Number of people attending
- Set up time (i.e. when will we need to be on site for delivery / set up)
- Performance time (your best estimate is valuable)
- Break down time (when can we clear away)
Additional information that can also enable us is:
- Venue
- Parking availability
- Depending upon the requirement it is also useful to know about access - i.e.how easy is it to get from the delivery vehicle to the set up point?
- Is there a power and water supply
There are a number of reasons for preparing quotes like this but ultimately events don't just happen, they take experience and time to organise. For us to be able to deliver our services on your behalf, we as a company have to commit much more than just the performance time [ i.e. the above reference points, etc, etc ] to organise to the logistics, which is a very 'time' consuming business. For e.g, even a simple event such as a Fun Casino will involve:
-
Vehicle loading
-
Travel to destination
-
Set up before the event
-
The event activity itself / performance
-
Break down after the activity / performance
-
Return journey
-
Unloading of vehicle
- Re Storing Equipment
Thus a 3 hour casino performance booking can easily become a 12 hour day, so
inevitably this has to be taken into account and reflected in the quote.
Are
there likely to be hidden extras?
Our pricing strategies will vary from event to event, taking into account the above referenced points and therefore some events will ineviatably involve travel, accommodation and subsistence (the most common 'extras'). As with any pricing analysis, make sure when you are comparing prices that it is on a like for like basis and to take into consideration when seeking quotes, as to wether or not a company has:
We at Knights Templar
Events try very hard to avoid surprise 'extras'
as they are so annoying. However, if your requirements
change then it is perfectly reasonable for us to
revise the quote and the event proposal / package.
Knights Templar Events is a UK vat registered company.

We hope
you find this pricing strategy helpful and look forward to you contacting us with your forthcoming event enquiry. |
